Conservatives already embroiled in other conspiracy theories have a vested interest in this theory being true, as it reduces the community power of queer students on grounds. If they are in deep enough with other theories, there's almost no downside in adding this to their personal mythos. For international parents, they are potential victims as people without the cultural context of the University or the ability to fact check any obscure theories outside of contacting random students directly.

Where Would it Spread?

After starting as a website like this one, the conspiracy theory would propagate on forums like Discord and on social media, espcially academic and conservative-leaning instagram pages for UVA.

Brown College is already known around grounds as an 'alternative dorm' that does genuinely have a reputation for orgies. That basis in reality would allow more outlandish rumors to gain a foothold in conservative spaces without extreme objection from students. Once there, the theory could jump to its more violent ends, implying what the cabal would do and how to stop it.

The Brown College Problem

At the esteemed University of Virginia, there is a significant threat to the safety and health of average students brewing right outside the lawn. Brown Residential College, located at Monroe Hill, is a well-known safehaven for homosexuals and trans activists. Recently, students living at Brown have reported roaming gangs of residents transversing underground tunnels to collude on matters including 'queer theory' and 'gender ideology.'

Brown college is well known for it's student governance. At the time of its founding, this was an admirable trait. However, the recent COVID pandemic has allowed for a takeover of the governance board by several groups of students funded by UVA's chapter of the Young Democratic Socialist Association and the Platypus Society, both radical communist organizations on grounds.

The current structure of Brown allows the homosexual cabal extreme influence over the student body at large. By using the tunnels and student lounges for orgies and large-scale meetings of the queers, they have erected a scene of mysticism around their building. Their sexual deviancy has become well-known around grounds; the building is practically a one-stop-shop for anyone attempting to engage in wanton debauchery. From sex toys, to cocaine, to live gay porn, brown college poses a blatant threat to student safety.

The secrets behind Brown College can be confirmed by students who applied to live there without knowing about the conspiracy beneath the surface. Although the most egregious scheming happens in the shadows, testimony from average students residing in Brown describe tunnels between dorm stairwells that can be navigated by any resident. The tunnels, most underground, are filled with marijuana smoke and condoms, exposed pipes, murals encouraging homosexuality, and locked rooms that can only be opened by members of student governance. These conditions are clearly unsafe for normal students, and this is just what they allow any resident to see. Not even UVA housing staff can access governance board rooms, so there is no check on the activities happening inside.

This epidemic of promiscuity, homosexuality, and left-wing ideology needs to be stopped. As a coalition of concerned parents, students, and community members, our voice must be heard: Brown College is a threat to the University of Virginia.

A Contentious Past

The University of Virginia has found itself embroiled in several politically-charged events throughout its history. From its tenuous position during the Civil War to to the recent alt-right rally in 2017, UVA is well known for political divide and violence. This history can be capitolized on by bad actors making conspiracy theories, as the University is already synonymous with political discord to people on both the left and the right. This reputation predisposes people to believe that UVA could still be used as a political battle ground today, even in outlandish or unbelievable ways.

A Dangerous Present

Considering the University's recent brush with alt-right violence, it would not be hard to believe that if this conspiracy theory gained traction, there would be right-wing backlash in the physical world. This theory could inspire vandalism and defacement of the historic building, or attacks of the residents themselves. Considering the fact that brown college has one of the largest percentages of queer residents on grounds, it would expose a vulnerable group of people to undeserved and dangerous conditions. These could come from believers who come to retailate in person or large-scale exposure by right wing media, which could have effects on residents' safety and security online and in their future.

This website is an example of an extreme form of the theory, designed to look like a pseudo-official site from the early 2000's that could convince the first wave of inexperienced parents and UVA-affiliated conspiracy theorists to spread the word.
